Always be a tourist in your own city: Buffalo

I have been to the Dinosaur BBQ before. Yet this is my first time going to the new one in Buffalo. The food, as I remembered was delicious. I ended up getting the chili cheese nachos. They were basically chili cheese fries but with chips instead. How could you go wrong? What I found most interesting was that the kitchen was completely open. You need to run an excellent kitchen staff for that not to be disastrous. Good food, good company and a good atmosphere.

After a dinosaur diner, we headed to Canalside, which is one of my favorite spots in Buffalo. The water is beautiful, there are bright adirondack chairs and most importantly there is Shark Girl. Shark Girl traveled from Cincinnati this summer to visit us in Buffalo. Who knows how long she’ll be here so you must take advantage.

I will forever and always have Buffalo love.

Always be a tourist in your own city. Always stop to see a sight. And always have your camera ready.

Sometimes you need to stop on the side of the I90 to take in a beautiful view. While you might slow down traffic on the highway, you must remember that the journey is just as important as the destination.

Beautiful shot of the cloud color! I’ve only been to Buffalo once, thankfully in July not January. Keeping fingers crossed that we Midwesterners do not suffer through another polar vortex! Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking the Lake Michigan pics. 🙂
